ABOUT THE ROLE

Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City (link: https://machupicchuexp.com/berlin/) is a free-roam virtual reality experience that lets you walk through a stunning 4D reconstruction of the ancient Incan citadel. Using advanced VR technology, it offers an immersive, multi-user journey into Incan history, architecture, and culture. Move freely, interact with key landmarks, and explore the mysteries of Machu Picchu like never before. 

We are looking for someone who can operate as event staff 2-3 times a week. This position is temporary, part-time and is expected to be on-site.

You will be expected to:

- Work closely with the event manager to execute all aspects of the exhibition smoothly and efficiently
- Represent the brand through professional and respectful communication with guests.
- Customer contact person. Delivery and oversight of on-site ticket sales, registration, merchandise shop, interactive areas
- Other support tasks if necessary

In order to be successful in this role, you need:
  • German language proficiency is a must (English a plus!)
  • Previous experience, preferably in the events or hospitality industry
  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills
  • Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet
  • Highly organized and efficient. Time management skills and an ability to follow the direction of an event lead are key
  • A problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and efficiently when faced with issues on-site
  • Must be local to the Berlin area
